High-density memory board with 128 gigabytes of NAND flash

Aitech Defense Systems in Chatsworth, Calif., is offering its C212 series of rugged nonvolatile memory VMEbus board configurations that use NAND flash memory with supporting software drivers to provide hard-disk emulation for as much as 128 gigabytes of solid-state mass storage. The boards are designed for high-speed write and erase, and are useful for high-density data such as detailed maps, large databases, radar or sonar images, software-programmable radio electronic-data intelligence, or other graphics. The optional Aitech Flash Memory Manager software package for VxWorks is available to treat the flash memory as the system’s disk drive. For more information contact Aitech online at www.rugged.com.
