(DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is offering the GigExtreme ET-71000 Gigabit Ethernet network controller and TCP/IP offload engine (TOE) cards for applications in avionics, vetronics, high-speed video processing, motor control, and sensor interfacing. The ET-71000 offloads the TCP/IP and UDP-IP protocol stack without modification or recompilation of the network application. It not only supports the protocol stack, but also military system requirements such as traffic shaping, redundancy management, and information security.
