Companies combine forces to provide RFID services in India

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., 26 Jan. 2007. Savi Technology, a Lockheed Martin company, and India-based AVAANA are partnering to provide active radio frequency identification (RFID)-based supply chain products and services in India.

The regional partnership aims at supply chains in India, especially in the government, defense, homeland security and transportation sectors.

As Savi's partner, AVAANA will provide Savi's active RFID services and technology products for harsh environments. AVAANA will collaborate with Savi to deliver Savi's customized active RFID-based solutions.
