NASA Goddard joins hands with Northrop Grumman to develop advanced remote-sensing

GREENBELT, Md., 19 Feb. 2008. Scientists from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., are working together with engineers from the Northrop Grumman Corp. Electronic Systems Sector in Baltimore to develop advanced remote sensing systems for space and Earth science measurements.

Signing the cooperation agreement are Dr. Laurie Leshin, deputy director for science and technology at NASA Goddard, and Joseph Ensor, sector vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman's Space and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) Systems Division in Linthicum, Md.
