SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The Titan Corporation announced that its subsidiary Titan Systems Corporation has been awarded a competitive contract by the U.S. Air Force having a potential value, with options if exercised, of $103 million through December 2006. Awarded by the Air Force's Electronic Systems Center (ESC), headquartered at Hanscom AFB near Boston, the contract supports ESC's Information Technology Services Program needs for the Combat Air Forces Command and Control (CAF C2) Systems Program Office.

"This win significantly expands Titan's support to the Air Force's Command and Control Information Systems programs," said Gene Ray, Titan's President, Chairman and CEO. "We look forward to continuing our long-term partnership with the Electronic Systems Center and its important mission of providing integrated command and control capabilities to U.S. and allied combat air forces."

Under this award, Titan will provide program technical and management support for the acquisition, integration and continued evolution of CAF C2 Program Office product lines and programs, including Theater/Force C2 Systems, Battle Management and Crisis Action Systems, Wing/Unit C2 Systems, Air Force Weather Systems, PEACE SHIELD Program, Foreign Military Sales Programs, Development Planning and Integration Programs, the Aerospace Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System, and Combined Aerospace Operations Center-Experimental (CAOC-X).

"Once again, Titan continues to bid on and win contracts that take advantage of our increased size and capabilities," said Eric M. DeMarco, Titan's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. "Since the beginning of this year, Titan has announced $499 million in contract awards. Of those announced awards, this is the second contract having a potential value in excess of $100 million. We believe these large contract wins -- and the momentum that we have been able to generate -- demonstrate the value of our growth strategy."
