CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., May 16, 2003. VDC Display Systems has been awarded $3.4 Million in additional orders from The Boeing Company for visual display systems for the Air Force F-15, F-16 and T-38 flight simulation and training systems for delivery over the next 18 months. The trainers provide for a typical range of training maneuvers - from formation flight, air refueling, weapons delivery, air-to-air and air-to-ground combat, emergency procedures, and take-off landings.
The VDC division is also a major supplier of visual display systems for the Army Apache Longbow helicopter, the Navy F/A-18, Air Force F-22, and the Marine Stinger Weapon Trainer.
VDC Display Systems provides its customized, visual-display solutions to the military and industrial training, command and control, design centers and 3-D virtual reality markets, and to the custom home theater market. Its custom products include the industry's highest rated, ruggedized visual display system that is used for all mission-critical shipboard applications on Navy carriers, Aegis class cruisers and destroyers.
