Air Force orders $800 million C4I2TSR system from SI Intl.

RESTON, Va., April 30, 2004. SI International, Inc. announced today that the C4I2TSR Engineering and Technical Support Contract was formally signed by the U.S. Air Force Space Command and SI International on April 14, 2004.

C4I2TSR is an acronym for Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Information Technology, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.

Task orders under this prime contract are expected to begin flowing soon, with work being performed by SI International's Colorado Springs, Colo.-based operations. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a three and one-half year base period and three two-year options for a potential value of up to $800 million.

SI International's team members include Northrop Grumman Corporation, Computer Sciences Corporation, Raytheon Company, Analytical Systems Incorporated, PEAK Computer Solutions, NCI Information Systems, ARC Information Assurance Institute, and DigitalNet.

C4I2TSR services to be performed will support U.S. Air Force Space Command, US Northern Command, and NORAD, all headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., as well as U.S. Strategic Command, located in Omaha, Neb. and other U.S. government agencies located around the world
