Anteon awarded $15.5 million Navy contract to evaluate survivability of ships

FAIRFAX, Va., May 13, 2004. Anteon International Corp. announced today that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), to provide engineering and technical services for evaluating ship survivability. The potential value of this contract is approximately $15.5 million.

Under this contract, Anteon will provide a broad range of services for enhanced survivability support to surface ship and submarine acquisition, construction, and research and development programs. The Company's services for this effort include developing and applying underwater explosion shock analyses of naval vessels and their design components and evaluating the structural integrity of conventional and composite materials.
