Laser diffuse and laser retroreflective sensors

Banner Engineering Corp. in Minneapolis is offering the World-Beam QS18LD laser diffuse and QS18LLP laser retroreflective sensors. The devices sense with visible class 1 lasers, tightly collimated sensing beams, and extended sensing ranges, company officials say. Both models use a compact housing. The QS18LD senses targets as far away as 300 millimeters, and the QS18LPP delivers retroreflective sensing as far away as 10 meters. The two sensors are for applications where high power and small beam size are important, such as semiconductor, materials handling, medical, and pharmaceuticals.
