Emrise Corp. gains $200,000 order for power supplies for U.S. Black Hawk helicopter

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., 30 March 2008. Emrise Corp., a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of proprietary electronic devices and communications equipment for aerospace, defense, industrial, and communications applications, has received an initial order of approximately $200,000 for power supplies for the U.S. Army's UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

Deliveries of this initial order are expected to ship within the next 90 days.

The order was received by the company's subsidiary, RO Associates Inc. (ROA) in Sunnyvale, Calif. ROA manufactures and markets power supply products for the U.S. military and aerospace markets. The addition of products through the acquisition of ROA in September 2005 complements EMRISE's existing line of power supply products for military and commercial aerospace, industrial and communications markets in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Since acquiring ROA, EMRISE has shifted the subsidiary's strategic focus to power supplies for hostile-environment aerospace and military programs.
