Barco receives 2007 Boeing Performance Excellence award

DULUTH, Ga., 4 April 2008 Barco announced today that its North American avionics division won the 2007 Performance Excellence Award from Boeing

Avionics specialist Barco has been a long-standing provider of advanced standby flight displays for Boeing's V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft. To this day, more than 120 displays have been integrated into the flight decks of the V-22s operated by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force.

"Performance excellence is imperative to the success of our companies. The employees of Barco's North American Avionics division have exhibited dedication to our high-performance standards. Boeing is committed to the practice of 'Working Together' to foster continued growth for our top performing suppliers and providing the best value to our customers," says Janell D. Bursac, director of Supplier Management Advanced Systems at Boeing.
