Emrise Corp., a multinational manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, has received initial production orders valued at $450,000 for a range of military power supplies and test equipment from an existing European customer for use in an international military program.

Deliveries are expected to be completed in 2008.

These initial production orders, which follow the recent completion of the design and development phase of the program, were received by the company's Xcel Power Systems Ltd. subsidiary in England.

Emrise chairman, president, and CEO Carmine Oliva says: "While, for security reasons, we are unable to disclose the specific military organization or applications involved, this is a key international military program and an important opportunity from one of our major European customers. We believe these orders are the first of expected on going orders we will receive for this program."
