Dynamics Research Corp. wins defense department logistics contract

Andover, Mass., 14 May 2008. Dynamics Research Corp., a provider of innovative engineering, technical and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, is one of six companies to be awarded a prime Logistics, Maintenance and Supply Support (LMSS) contract to provide lifecycle management services across Defense Department Services.

This indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract (ID/IQ), awarded through the Army's Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems, is for a base year with four one-year options.

"This contract provides us access to and growth opportunities with Army, Navy and Marine Corps customers, who have needs for DRC's outstanding business intelligence systems, business transformation, engineering, and acquisition management solutions and services," says James P. Regan, DRC's chairman and chief executive officer.

Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide total life cycle systems management associated with the planning, implementation, execution and retirement of business processes and systems solutions for LMSS activities. These solutions will aid defense program managers with objectives to move to an enterprise-wide, life cycle alignment of resources and output and to achieve top-down performance driven outcomes.
