Barco offers rugged display for extreme conditions aboard armored vehicles

PARIS, 17 June 2008. Barco in Duluth, Ga., is introducing the TX-243 LCD monitor for armored vehicles. The TX LCD display series offers rugged touch screen, NVIS capability, sunlight readability, and thermal management.

Barco's TX-243 is 17-inch flat panel display offers low dimming and programmable bezel buttons, and is sealed with a thermal management system. The LCD monitors provide cold starts at -46 degrees Celsius, as well as operation at 71 C.

The TX series flat panel monitor has EMI/EMC resistance and meets common military specifications for severe environments such as humidity, sand, salt, dust, and fog. For more information contact Barco online at www.barco.com.
