Army chooses CG2 Inc. for simulation and training expertise

U.S. Army officials needed simulation, training, and instrumentation expertise from private industry to help train soldiers for battle. They found their solution at CG2 Inc. in Orlando, Fla.

CG2 won a contract from the Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation as part of the organization’s simulation and training omnibus contract, better known as STOC II. CG2 is a subsidiary of Quantum3D Inc. in San Jose, Calif.

STOC II is a several-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $17 billion cap over 10 years that seeks to deliver training and instrumentation expertise for U.S. Army’s warfighters.

As STOC II winners, CG2 will be able to advance the technological capabilities of its training and simulation products, such as its Independence IDX image generators and ExpeditionDI immersive, untethered, man-wearable training systems.
