CHELMSFORD, Mass., 27 Oct. 2009. Mercury Computer Systems Inc. in Chelmsford, Mass., is providing signal processing based on the company's OpenVPX Ensemble 6000 products to a defense supplier for its global radar upgrade program under terms of a multimillion-dollar order announced Monday.
Mercury's multi-plane architecture use the design principles of the OpenVPX to deliver heterogeneous signal processing capability, while protecting the radar system integrator's investment in radar processing software, Mercury officials say.
