Stanley wins $49 million DISA task order to infuse global information grid with cybersecurity, network security

ARLINGTON, Va., 7 Nov. 2009. Stanley Inc., a provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, won a five-year, firm-fixed-price task order valued at $49 million, if all options are exercised, by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) under the company's Encore II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity prime contract.

Under this award, the Stanley team will provide cybersecurity services to support the Defense Information Systems Agency Connection Approval Division in the implementation of Department of Defense (DOD) network and security policy.

Stanley will also provide vulnerability and risk assessment information, compliance guidance, and technical assistance to senior DoD, designated accreditation authorities, security officials, and network administrators responsible for ensuring security compliance for all information systems, applications, and services connected to the Global Information Grid (GIG).

"We look forward to working with DISA's Connection Approval Division on this critical cybersecurity mission, assuring the security of the Global Information Grid for the Department of Defense," says Randy Brooks, Stanley vice president. "Ensuring the safety of the GIG directly supports the fight against global terrorism."
