ROSH HA'AYIN, Israel -- Simulator designers at BVR Systems Ltd. in Rosh Ha'Ayain, Israel, are to build a a full-mission simulator for advanced front-line fighter aircraft under terms of a $20 million contract awarded Dec. 26.
BVR Systems leaders did not disclose the name of their customer, which is not out of the ordinary for members of the Israeli defense industry. The simulator includes a 360-degree visual display dome that displays moving images depicting databases that BVR Systems experts created.
The simulator's software offers high-fidelity simulations, and includes the company's playback feature, "What If," which enables users to go back in time and restart the training scenario from any moment in the training session.
