Raytheon Combines Thermal Imaging in Visible Light Camera DALLAS, July 21, 2003. The 500DX, which combines a radiometric thermal-imaging camera, a handheld iPAQ PDA computer, and a visible-light camera, is now available from Raytheon Infrared. The new, competitively priced, industrial-use camera enables engineers, inspectors and managers to detect heat produced by engines, motors or fluids to indicate faulty parts or processes before damage or failures occur

Astronics Wins Contracts for Night Vision Technology EAST AURORA, N.Y., July 16, 2003. Raytheon Awarded $16.8M Production Option for Army ATC MARLBORO, Mass., July 14, 2003. Raytheon as been awarded a $16.8 million production option to a previously awarded U.S. Army Communications - Electronics Command (CECOM) contract for the production of AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination Systems (ATNAVICS) and AN/FPN-67 Fixed Base Precision Approach Radar (FBPAR) systems.
Space Systems/Loral Awarded $103M Contract for ISS PALO ALTO, Calif., July 11, 2003. Space Systems/Loral (SS/L), a subsidiary of Loral Space & Communications has won a contract from Boeing NASA Systems, Houston, Texas, to build 40 replacement batteries for the U.S. photovoltaic, or power-producing, module of the International Space Station (ISS).
BAE SYSTEMS Awarded Navy Contract for ID Systems ROCKVILLE, Md., July 10, 2003. BAE SYSTEMS has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract to provide engineering and technical services for identification systems for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), St. Inigoes, Md. The contract has a potential ceiling value of $117 million if all options are exercised.
