ManTech Completes IDS Acquisition FAIRFAX, Va. March 4, 2003. ManTech International Corp., an information systems and technical services company serving the federal government market, has closed the transaction to acquire Integrated Data Systems (IDS), a Chantilly, Va.-based software development and systems integration/networking services company supporting national intelligence and Department of Defense customers.

Diebold Integrates HandReader Technology at WVU CAMPBELL, CA, February 26, 2003. DRS Receives $4M Navy Contract for Design of IR Systems PARSIPPANY, N.J. February 21, 2003. DRS Technologies has received a contract to design and develop state-of-the-art active and passive infrared sensing systems for the Vertical Integrated Sensor Arrays (VISA) program of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Microsystems Technology Office (MTO), for future advanced military and space surveillance applications.

Spirent Receives PMA For Cabin Displays WICHITA, KAN., February 18, 2003. Spirent Systems has received FAA certification on their newest line of cabin displays, the AvVisor Plus. A Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) as well as Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) was issued by the FAA in January.
Raytheon and Lockheed Martin to Pursue $161M Contract FALLS CHURCH, Va., February 14, 2003. -- Raytheon and Lockheed Martin will lead an industry team in pursuit of a U.S. Air Force program to upgrade an intelligence system called the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS). The new program, known as DCGS Block 10.2 Multi-INT Core, is valued at about $161 million.
