APCON Products Play Key Role in Avionics Testing
PORTLAND, Ore., September 23, 2003. Lockheed Martin has decided to integrate APCON switches into their avionic testing procedures in order to quickly and effectively evaluate avionic systems that utilize Fibre Channel communication systems. Lockheed Martin is working with APCON's IntellaPatch switches in their GPIATE and LM Star test sets, which are used to support F-16 and F-35 fighter jet ground operations.

Raytheon Selected for Anti-Jam GPS Sensor for F-35

Raytheon has been selected to develop the next-generation militarized GPS system with anti-jam and stealth capabilities for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). Racal Wireless Wins $1.8M Orders For Test Systems

Harris Delivers Satellite Terminals to Marines
QUANTICO, Va. and ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., September 15, 2003. Harris Corporation has delivered 13 of the first 28 transit case-configured Lightweight Multiband Satellite Terminals (LMST) to the U.S. Marine Corps. The highly mobile LMST ground terminals provide deployed military forces with reach-back to headquarters operations as well as satellite-based voice, video, and data communications connectivity within the battlefield.

Positron Systems Awarded Contract from Missile Agency
BOISE, Idaho. September 12, 2003. Positron Systems has been awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I contract by the U.S. Military's Missile Defense Agency. Under the contract, Positron Systems will demonstrate that its Photon Induced Positron Annihilation (PIPA) technology can detect structural and chemical reaction issues in solid rocket motor propellants, prior to the onset of propellant grain cracking

Green Hills Helps JPL Go to Mars
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., August 11, 2003. All the flight software aboard the two Mars Exploration Rover missions was written by engineers from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) using software development tools from Green Hills Software. Both the "Opportunity" rover, launched July 7, and the "Spirit" rover, launched June 10, are being directed and controlled by software programs and systems written with the use of Green Hills development tools.
