EFJ, Inc. announced that its EFJohnson subsidiary has received additional orders totaling $1.5 million from the United States Air Force. Under the orders, the company will provide Minot AFB in North Dakota with its Project 25 portable and mobile radios.
U.K. buys more Javelin anti-tank missiles TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 14, 2004. The United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence has placed a follow-on order, valued at approximately $180 million, for the Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin weapon system.
Engineered Support to build Bradley control panel ST. LOUIS, Mo., Oct. 14, 2004. Engineered Support Systems, Inc. has received a $4.6 million subcontract from United Defense Industries Inc. for the design, development, and testing of a Turret System Control Panel and Mission Processor for the Bradley M2A2 Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) vehicle program.

Northrop Grumman buys Level 3 network for DHS contract BROOMFIELD, Colo., Oct. 12, 2004. Level 3 Communications, Inc. today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Level 3 Communications, LLC, has been selected to provide data networking services to Northrop Grumman Information Technology.
