American Eurocopter to sell 55 aircraft to U.S. Border Patrol GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas, Oct. 4, 2004. American Eurocopter -- a subsidiary of Eurocopter and EADS North America-- announced on Monday that the company has been awarded a contract by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to supply more than 55 aircraft to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency. The value of the award is potentially $75 million over the five-year term of the contract.
