ATK to supply fuzes for JDAM and Paveway precision weapons MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Sept. 22, 2004. ATK has received an initial $10 million production contract from the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., for FMU-139C/B bomb fuzes. With options, the contract could exceed $54 million over the next two years.

EOIR Technologies to develop Army's airborne sensors RIDGEFIELD, Conn., September, 2004. Markland Technologies, Inc., an integrated homeland security company, announced today that the US Army's Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) has awarded EOIR Technologies Inc. contracts in the amount of $1,985,823 for EOIR to provide support services for the development and testing of airborne sensors and data collection platforms over a 24 month performance period.
General Dynamics acquires satellite communications company FALLS CHURCH, Va., Sept. 17, 2004. General Dynamics today completed its acquisition of Newton, N.C.-based TriPoint Global Communications Inc., a privately held provider of ground-based satellite and wireless communication equipment and integration services for video, voice and data applications worldwide. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
