Air Force picks Lockheed Martin for NETCENTS contract GAITHERSBURG, Md., Sept. 10, 2004. A Lockheed Martin-led team has been selected to share in task orders potentially valued at $9 billion under the U.S. Air Force's Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) program.

BAE Systems to acquire DigitalNet for $600 million HERNDON, Va., Sept. 11, 2004. DigitalNet Holdings Inc. announced today that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with BAE Systems North America. BAE Systems will acquire all of the outstanding shares of DigitalNet for $30.25 per share in cash. With the assumption of DigitalNet's $93.25 million of debt, the cost of the transaction would be approximately $600 million.
Integrated Performance Systems to build circuit boards for Tomahawk missile DALLAS, Texas, Sept. 10, 2004. Integrated Performance Systems, a printed circuit board and electronics component manufacturer located in Frisco, Texas, announced today that it has recently received an order in excess of $550K for components used in the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile.
Hydrogenics to provide fuel cell for aircraft tow tractor TORONTO, Ont., Sept. 9, 2004. Hydrogenics Corp., a designer and manufacturer of hydrogen and fuel cell systems, announced today that it has won a contract to supply a 65-kilowatt hydrogen fuel cell power module to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Fuel Cell Test and Evaluation Center (FCTec), operated by Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC).
Mikros Systems to produce intelligent test tool for Navy radars PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 9, 2004. Mikros Systems Corp. announced today the receipt of a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract from the Naval Surface Weapons Center - Dahlgren, Va. Valued at approximately $2.4 million, the contract is to complete the development and to begin initial production of an intelligent test tool for Navy radars.
Navy asks Raytheon to develop satellite communication architecture MCKINNEY, Texas, Sept. 9, 2004. Raytheon Company has received a $23.3 million addition to its Navy Multi-band Terminal (NMT) contract that was awarded in October 2003. The modified effort takes the original contract's value for the initial phase of development of the terminal from $61 million to $87 million.
Northrop Grumman will modernize B-2 bomber's radar EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 9, 2004. Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a $388 million contract by the U.S. Air Force for the next phase of a program to modernize the B-2 radar system.
General Dynamics to modify M1A2 Abrams SEP tanks STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Sept. 8, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems a $22.4 million contract to repair and modify 111 M1A2 Abrams System Enhancement Package (SEP) tanks.
