DoD contracts Harris to maintain emergency communication link MELBOURNE, Fla., 2 December 2004. Harris Corp. today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide system maintenance and engineering for the agency's Crisis Management System (CMS).

HYPRES will build cryocooler for JTRS program ELMSFORD, N.Y., 29 November 2004. HYPRES, Inc. has been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense to design, build, and test the military's first prototype ruggedized, compact, tactical cryocooler and cryopackage capable of supporting superconducting digital operations in combat communications systems.
