Engenuity Technologies Acquires BGT BioGraphic Technologies MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, 11 Nov. 2005. Engenuity Technologies Inc. today announced that it has acquired BGT BioGraphic Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of artificial intelligence (AI) software for the gaming, entertainment and visual simulation (VizSim) industries.

Microsemi to acquire Advanced Power Technology Inc. IRVINE, Calif., 3 Nov. 2005. Microsemi Corp. in Irvine, Calif., is set to acquire Advanced Power Technology Inc. (APT) in Bend, Ore. Microsemi leaders say the acquisition will expand their company's offerings in analog mixed signal offering for RF applications, as well as high reliability offering in the defense/aerospace and medical marketplace.
Navy manages medical data with RGII services ANNAPOLIS, Md., 2 Nov. 2005. RGII Technologies today announced that it has won a five-year contract from the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide decision support services for the Naval Medical Information Management Center (NMIMC).
Air Force calibration lab picks Agilent equipment PALO ALTO, Calif., 2 Nov. 2005. Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced it has been awarded a $19.73 million contract by the U.S. Air Force to provide Agilent microwave measuring receivers to the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Lab (AFMETCAL). Agilent also has received a $2.3 million contract to deliver low noise signal generators to the lab.
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency names Raytheon for computer security RESTON, Va., 1 Nov. 2005. Raytheon Company has been awarded a competitive performance based, cost-plus-award fee contract to provide information assurance (IA) services to the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA). Financial terms were not disclosed.
French navy chooses data backup software PALO ALTO, Calif., 31 Oct. 2005. Atempo today announced that the French Navy's Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department Entity (EPSHOM) has chosen its Time Navigator software to protect the critical data generated by its three main sites and all information collected by its mission boats.

Navy orders spectrum analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz COLUMBIA, Md., 27 Oct. 2005. The U. S. Navy Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) in Mechanicsburg, Pa., has awarded Rohde & Schwarz a contract for approximately 1,500 of their Model R&S FSH6 6 GHz hand-held spectrum analyzers and remote control software for delivery over a five-year period.
Kollsman to repair optical system on Cobra attack helicopter MERRIMACK, N.H., 25 Oct. 2005. Kollsman Inc. in Merrimack, N.H., won a $14 million order to repair the telescopic sight unit on the U.S. Marine Corps. AH-1W attack helicopter.
