Northrop Grumman will upgrade Joint STARS in $532 million contract
MELBOURNE, Fla., 29 Nov. 2005. The U.S. Air Force has awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. a five-year, $532 million contract for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) System Improvement Program to provide systems design and development improvements to the E-8C Joint STARS fleet.

NASA selects Boston Micromachines for space mirror
WATERTOWN, Mass., 28 Nov. 2005. Boston Micromachines Corp. today announced that it has been selected by NASA for a Phase 2 contract. NASA's Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) awarded Boston Micromachines a $600,000 contract to develop a deformable mirror suitable for space-based operation in systems for high-resolution imaging.

Harris Corp. builds portable radios for Air Force

Raytheon to build coastal radar for Dutch Antilles and Aruba

Raytheon Canada has been awarded a contract valued at $12 million (Euro 10 million) by the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Coast Guard of the Netherlands Antilles & Aruba (CGNA&A) to build an integrated coastal surveillance radar network on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, including long-term maintenance and training.
