Boeing awards $47 million extension to ground-based midcourse defense contract with Teledyne Brown Engineering
LOS ANGELES, 8 Nov. 2006. Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has announced that its subsidiary, Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc., has been awarded a $47 million extension of its ground-based midcourse defense (GMD) contract from The Boeing Company.

DRS Technologies receives $76 million in orders for thermal weapon sights for U.S. Army ground forces
PARSIPPANY, N.J., 7 Nov. 2006. DRS Technologies Inc. has received approximately $76 million in new orders to produce next-generation thermal weapon sights II (TWS II) for U.S. Army ground force applications. DRS received the new orders from the U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) acquisition center in Fort Monmouth, N.J., acting on behalf of Program Executive Office Soldier. For these orders, DRS will produce light, medium, and heavy thermal weapon sights.

Triumph Group acquires Allied Aerospace Industries, expands service offerings
