Sabeus ships AG-1 DFB laser with multi variable control system for dynamic signal feeback
CALABASAS, Calif., 19 October 2006. Sabeus Inc. has announced the availability of the AG-1 distributed feedback (DFB) laser. The AG-1 is the first Sabeus product to implement the company's patent-pending Multi Variable Control System (MVCS) for dynamic signal feedback. MVCS allows the AG-1 to achieve 100 times the signal precision of comparable semiconductor diode lasers without the bulk, complexity and cost of laser isolation systems.
Singapore's Jian Huang Engineering places $4 million order for Ecosphere's M3500 robotic systems
STUART, Fla., 19 October 2006. Ecosphere Technologies Inc., the Florida-based technology company for homeland security, marine, disaster relief, and defense applications, has received a Letter of Intent from Jian Huang Engineering PTE LTD of Singapore for an additional eight M3500 Robotic Systems.

SOCORRO, N.M., 18 October 2006. FSMLabs' RTLinuxPro is shipping in the Gen4 EFIS/One glass cockpit from Blue Mountain Avionics. The EFIS/One is a glass cockpit designed specifically for experimental aircraft. FSMLabs patented hard real-time virtualization technology decouples the POSIX RTCore real-time kernel from an embedded Linux (or BSD UNIX) client operating system that is preemptible by time critical code.
U.S. Army contracts Textron Marine & Land for Armored Knight armored security vehicle variant
NEW ORLEANS, 18 October 2006. Textron Marine & Land, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. company, has been awarded a contract modification by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM) to manufacture 64 Armored Security Vehicles (ASV) for a new configuration called the M707 Armored Knight.
