Global ePoint acquires Tops Digital Security, expected to generate $8 million in 12 months CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., 23 June 2006. Global ePoint Inc., a manufacturer of security technologies for the aviation, law enforcement, commercial and industrial markets, has completed its acquisition of the assets, including intellectual property and customer base, of Tops Digital Security (Tops). Tops anticipates it will generate approximately $8 million in revenue during the next 12 months.
The U.S. Marine Corps orders 15 Cougar JERRVs from Force Protection LADSON, S.C., 22 June 2006. The U.S. Marine Corps has placed a follow-on order with Force Protection Inc. for 15 additional Cougar Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal Rapid Response Vehicles (JERRVs). The order, which includes associated support items and services, is worth an estimated $9.3 million.
U.S. Army awards $72.9 million contract to DataPath for Joint Network Node Program Duluth, Ga., 22 June 2006. DataPath Inc., a global solution provider for mission-critical communications, has announced that the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) in Fort Monmouth, N.J., has awarded the company a $72.9 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide specialized satellite earth terminals and support services for the Joint Network Node (JNN) program. The contract includes 92 DataPath ET 3000 Portables and two DataPath DKET 4530Ku Mobiles.
Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. awards IDIQ subcontracts valued at $5.7 million to SYS Technologies SAN DIEGO, 22 June 2006. SYS Technologies, a provider of information connectivity solutions that enable real-time, complex decision-making, has been awarded three separate indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) subcontracts totaling $5.7 million. SYS will provide systems engineering, analysis, and support for current and future Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) systems and networks as part of an IDIQ subcontract award from Booz Allen Hamilton.
LaBarge to produce electronic assemblies for Northrop Grumman radar jammer system ST. LOUIS, 21 June 2006. LaBarge Inc. has received a $1.7 million contract from Northrop Grumman Corporation's Defensive Systems Division to produce circuit card assemblies for the AN/ALQ-135 radar jammer system. The company expects to receive follow-on orders on the program.
Ultra MSI control grips selected for CROWS application in Iraq WALLINGFORD, Conn., 21 June 2006. Under a $418,000 contract with Electro Optic Systems Pty, in Canberra, Australia, Ultra Electronics Measurement Systems Inc. (Ultra MSI) is supplying high reliability control grips for use in the U. S. Army's Common Remote Operated Weapon Station (CROWS).

Identix Incorporated, a provider of multi-biometric solutions, has introduced the TouchPrint Enhanced Definition 4100 Slap & Roll Live Scan, designed to fall within federally mandated form factor requirements for live scan fingerprint image scanning devices.
Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp. receives order for new digital test product CARLSTADT, N.J., 20 June 2006. Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp (Tel) has announced the receipt of a $407,000 order for 14 of its new TR-401 test unit from a major U.S. military airframe manufacturer.
House approves $32 billion for Department of Homeland Security in 2007 Reston, Va., 20 June 2006. On June 6, the House of Representatives passed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spending bill which provides $32 billion in discretionary spending for DHS in fiscal year 2007 (FY07). This amount is $1.8 billion above the FY06 enacted levels, and $1.1 billion above the President's request, according to a report released today by Input.
EOJT signs partnering agreement with Tactical Electronic Services Centennial, Colo., 20 June 2006. Tactical Electronic Services (TES) Ltd. and EOJT have entered into a strategic partnering agreement that enables EOJT to manufacture, market, and sell TES' proprietary Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) gear. The partnership will enable EOJT to continue to market and sell the TES proprietary gear to the US DOD and FEDGOV market and will reduce the timeline for manufacturing and maintenance requirements for existing and future customer bases.
