Agilent Technologies introduces oscilloscope-based DDR2 compliance test application
SANTA CLARA, Calif., 15 Dec. 2006. Agilent Technologies Inc. has unveiled its first oscilloscope-based DDR2 compliance test application, for engineers working in the computer, data storage, electronic data processing, and consumer electronics industries. The Agilent N5413A DDR2 test application, which runs on Infiniium 54850 and 80000 series oscilloscopes, provides DDR2 electrical compliance measurements.

The design and embedded capabilities of the GoldenEye 80 enable the UAV to be used for a variety of military missions, from conducting surveillance beyond hills in rural areas to gathering intelligence while flying between buildings in urban warfare operations.

Navy seeks to enhance undersea surveillance to optimize anti-submarine warfare operations

L-3 Communications' Advanced Products Division unveils VideoScout-MC video exploitation system

L-3 Communications' Advanced Products & Design (L-3 AP&D) division has released VideoScout-MC, a portable video exploitation and management system with an integrated L/C- or L/S-band receiver. VideoScout-MC can directly receive video and telemetry data from manned or unmanned aerial systems (UAS). VideoScout-MC deliveries will begin the first quarter of 2007.

The MathWorks releases Aerospace Toolbox to facilitate flight-data analysis in MATLAB
NATICK, Mass., 13 Dec. 2006. The MathWorks has introduced Aerospace Toolbox, a built-in interface to FlightGear flight simulator. Aerospace Toolbox enables engineers to visualize flight data in a three-dimensional environment, and reconstruct behavioral anomalies in flight-test results.

L-3 Communications' Link Simulation and Training to build F/A-18E/F training system
NEW YORK, 12 Dec. 2006. L-3 Communications' Link Simulation and Training (L-3 Link) division has been awarded a $32 million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center in Orlando, Fla., and The Boeing Company to provide four F/A-18E/F Tactical Operational Flight Trainers (TOFTs), instructor operator stations, brief/debrief systems, training, and on-site technical services.
