International Rectifier advances M3G series of space-level DC-DC converters with DSCC SMDs EL SEGUNDO, Calif., 1 Dec. 2006. International Rectifier (IR), maker of power management technology, has announced that the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) has issued additional Standard Microcircuit Drawings (SMDs) for its family of high-reliability DC-DC converters to include the majority of IR's M3G series of space level DC-DC converters.
DSA wins knowledge management contract from U.S. Army TREVOSE, Penn., 1 Dec. 2006. Data Systems Analysts (DSA) has been awarded a major contract for knowledge management and software system engineering from the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T).

GE Fanuc Embedded Systems, a unit of General Electric Company, has completed the acquisition of U.K.-based Radstone Technology PLC. The combination of Radstone with GE Fanuc Embedded Systems extends the company's line of embedded computer products that enable prime contractors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to serve the military and aerospace segments.

U.S. Army contracts Janus to develop 3D collaborative simulation training technology AUGUSTA, Ga., 29 Nov. 2006. Hardware and software training for large numbers of soldiers across theaters has been a cumbersome, expensive, static, and daunting prospect. The U.S. Army has elicited the help of Janus Research Group Inc., which has been selected to develop its 3D Collaborative Simulation Training technology for the Signal Center's Directorate of Training for the JNN-N Communication Systems (JNN).
