GE Fanuc announces pre-validated modular MicroTCA platforms CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., 15 Sept. 2007. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems in Charlottesville, Va., is offering two new MicroTCA platforms -- the MicroTCA MP-2000 and MicroTCA MP-3000 -- for military, telecommunications, and commercial applications. Both platforms are scalable and pre-validated so that each is pre-configured and pre-tested. IPMI code is included. to ensure interoperability.
Falcon Electric offers industrial-grade UPS for harsh military environments IRWINDALE, Calif., 14 Sept. 2007. Falcon Electric Inc. in Irwindale, Calif., is offering the SSG Series industrial-grade uninterruptible power supply (UPS) Plus models from 1.5 to 3 kilovolt amps. This regenerative on-line UPS provides military and aerospace applications with a high level of power protection that tolerates these environments -- including temperatures as hot as 55 degrees Celsius.
