SSTL to develop low-cost lunar orbiter for NASA GUILDFORD, England, 14 Aug. 2007. Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (SSTL) in Guildford, England, won a study contract for a potential joint United States-United Kingdom lunar orbiter mission to be called Magnolia.
GE Fanuc Embedded Systems announces $18.2 million production contract extension from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., 13 Aug. 2007. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems has secured an $18.2 million extension to an existing long-term agreement from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems is to provide its PPC4A single-board computer and G4DSP rugged digital quad signal processor for use in the latest phase of the MK48 Common Broadband Analog Sonar System Torpedo and MK54 Lightweight Torpedo programs, joint development efforts between Raytheon IDS and the U.S. Navy.
DataPath takes part in U.S. Army National Guard Rapid Response program DULUTH, Ga., 13 Aug. 2007. DataPath Inc., a provider of satellite and wireless communications networks, won a $16.7 million contract from the Communications-Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, N.J., to establish nationwide Joint Incident Site Communications Capability for the U.S. Army National Guard. In partnership with Applied Global Technologies (AGT), DataPath's communications networks provide federal, state, and military first responders with command-and-control capabilities.

BAE Systems presents common modular power system for combat vehicle applications TROY, Mich., 12 Aug. 2007. BAE Systems demonstrated a prototype common modular power system (CMPS) at the National Defense Industrial Association's Power and Energy Symposium. CMPS has been designed to provide military tactical wheeled vehicles with on-board and exportable power, addressing a critical warfighter need.
DRS Technologies to provide thermal imaging equipment to U.S. Army National Guard PARSIPPANY, N.J., 11 Aug. 2007. DRS Technologies Inc. received an $8 million contract from the U.S. Army's Research, Development, and Engineering Command's Acquisition Center at U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, on behalf of the National Guard Bureau, to provide thermal imaging equipment.
FLIR Systems receives $22.9 million order from U.S. Army PORTLAND, Ore., 10 Aug. 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. has won a $22.9 million order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star Safire III stabilized multisensor systems.
U.S. Army orders mobile satellite terminal equipment from Comtech Telecommunications Corp. MELVILLE, N.Y., 10 Aug. 2007. Comtech Telecommunications Corp.'s Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, has received orders totaling $12.4 million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the U.S. Army. Total orders received to date against the $463.2 million MTS contract increased to $428.6 million.
RS Information Systems to support Electronic Systems Center at various Air Force bases MCLEAN, Va., 10 Aug. 2007. RS Information Systems Inc. (RSIS), provider of advanced technical and business solutions in information technology, systems engineering, scientific support, and management consulting, has won a professional acquisition support services (PASS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) subcontract under Sumaria Systems Inc., to support the Electronic Systems Center (ESC) at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) in Bedford, Mass., and select ESC operating locations.
Data Link Solutions receives contract for MIDS Low Volume Terminals CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, 9 Aug. 2007. Data Link Solutions won a $28 million contract for secure digital data and voice communications equipment from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), San Diego.
