Raytheon awards Sofradir a multimillion-dollar contract to supply second-generation MCT Dewar detector cooler assemblies for U.S. Army program Veurey-Voroize, France, 15 May 2007. Sofradir, a developer and manufacturer of advanced infrared detectors, has been awarded a multimillion dollar contract to supply second-generation Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) Dewar detector cooler assemblies for a U.S. Army program.
Hydroid wins its largest service contract to date from U.S. Department of Defense BOSTON, 15 May 2007. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded Hydroid LLC, a manufacturer of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), a nearly $26 million contract for the maintenance, repair, alterations, and upgrades of the DoD's remote environmental measuring units (REMUS) AUV system variants, as well as upkeep of documentation associated with these systems.

Euroradar Caesar active electronically scanned array takes flight in Eurofighter Typhoon Basildon, U.K., 14 May 2007. The Euroradar Caesar active electronically scanned array (AESA) variant of the Captor radar system has completed a flight test program in the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. The flights were conducted by EADS from the Manching facility in Germany.

Mercury Computer Systems Inc. has provided silicon intellectual property (SIP) to Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems for the development of the Monarch (Morphable Networked Micro-Architecture) programmable, system-on-a-chip-processor.
BearingPoint awarded $99 million Air Force contract to improve Smart Operations MCLEAN, Va., 12 May 2007. BearingPoint Inc. management and technology consulting firm has been awarded a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide advisory and assistance services for the U.S. Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century program (AFSO21), including the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools. The Lean Six Sigma BPA spans five years with an award ceiling of $99 million.
L-3 Link Simulation and Training division delivers Predator training systems to U.S. Air Force NEW YORK, 11 May 2007. L-3 Communications' L-3 Link Simulation and Training (L-3 Link) division has delivered five of seven Predator Mission Aircrew Training System (PMATS) production units to Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, Nev.
BAE Systems tests radar-based obstacle detection system for military helicopters WAYNE, N.J., 11 May 2007. BAE Systems has completed flight testing of a prototype lightweight, all-weather cable and obstacle detection system. The system uses radar to identify cables and other obstacles and provides precise altimeter information to military helicopter pilots.
