ManTech completes acquisition of SRS Technologies Inc. FAIRFAX, Va., 11 May 2007. ManTech International Corp. completed the acquisition of SRS Technologies Inc. (SRS), a provider of high-end, mission-critical, advanced technology systems engineering and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services and solutions.
Orbital Express system employs AiTech Defense Systems' computers, PCI boards CHATSWORTH, Calif., 10 May 2007. Aitech Defense Systems' representatives have reported that the company's computers and peripheral component interconnect (PCI) boards are aboard the Orbital Express system, supporting an on-orbit demonstration led by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
BAE Systems's advanced precision kill weapon system guided rocket takes flight CRESTVIEW, Fla., 10 May 2007. BAE Systems conducted a successful test flight of its 2.75-inch guided rocket, the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS), on May 8. The test, held in partnership with the U.S. Navy program office, was the first with the APKWS in its production-ready configuration.
Endevco integrates into new Meggitt Sensing Systems group SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., 10 May 2007. Endevco Corporation, maker of sensing solutions for vibration, shock, and pressure applications, is now part of the new Meggitt Sensing Systems (MSS) division of Meggitt PLC. The division has been formed by merging the Meggitt Aerospace Systems and Meggitt Electronics groups into a single entity that serves the sensing industry with products, services, and applications.
U.S. Air Force awards Microvision contract to advance see-through eyewear display REDMOND, Wash., 9 May 2007. Microvision Inc., maker of light scanning technologies for display and imaging products, has been awarded a $3.2 million contract by the U.S. Air Force, to provide a lightweight, see-through, full-color eyewear display prototype to the government.

General Dynamics awarded $12 million contract to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration FAIRFAX, Va., 8 May 2007. General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, has been awarded a contract by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to support its National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC). The total potential value of this contract if all options are exercised is $11.7 million over five years.

L-3 Communications completes purchase of Global Communications Solutions Inc. NEW YORK, 8 May 2007. L-3 Communications has completed the acquisition of Global Communications Solutions Inc., a provider of portable satellite communications equipment and products. The acquired business, renamed L-3 GCS, has annual sales of approximately $90 million. L-3 GCS will be included in L-3's Specialized Products segment.
