ITT to produce electronic countermeasure system for U.S. Navy's F-18 E/F Super Hornet
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., 23 April 2008. ITT Corp. has been awarded a $111 million fixed-price contract and authority for full-rate production of the AN/ALQ-214(V)3, an integrated countermeasure system that provides self-protection capability to the U.S. Navy's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet tactical aircraft. The contract is part of the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures System (IDECM) from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Md.

SprayCool supplies liquid-cooled enclosure for Marine Corps Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle

Pegasus rocket carries U.S. Air Force C/NOFS satellite
DULLES, Va., 17 April 2008. Orbital Sciences Corp.'s Pegasus space launch vehicle launched the U.S. Air Force's Communications/Navigation Outage Forecasting System satellite into its intended low-Earth orbit. The C/NOFS satellite is a joint project of the U.S. Air Force's Space and Missile Center's Space Development and Test Wing and the Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate. General Dynamics designed and built the satellite and Orbital provided the launch services.

BAE Systems develops anti-jamming GPS receivers
AUSTIN, Texas, 18 April 2008. BAE Systems has developed a satellite navigation receiver system designed to provide uninterrupted operation of the global positioning system for air, land, and sea platforms and applications.

General Dynamics to provide JTRS capabilities, information assurance services
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., 18 April 2008. General Dynamics won a contract valued at up to $140 million to develop and integrate the maritime and fixed-site joint tactical radio capabilities and provide information assurance services for the Lockheed Martin Airborne, Maritime and Fixed Site (AMF) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) team.
