ITT to supply multi-spectral imaging capability to Army's night-vision goggles ROANOKE, Va., 13 July 2008. ITT Night Vision in Roanoke, Va., is supplying the U.S. Army with the AN/PSQ-20 multi-spectral enhanced night vision goggle (ENVG) -- a helmet-mounted night-vision monocular that combines image intensification and infrared (IR) digital imaging technologies.

Apptis selects DISA to provide network operations support for U.S. Central Command CHANTILLY, Va., 9 July 2008. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has awarded a multi-year task order valued at $25 million to Apptis Inc. to provide critical network operations and information assurance support to the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., and Bahrain.
FLIR Systems to deliver thermal imagers for use by U.S. Air Force PORTLAND, Ore., 9 July 2008. FLIR Systems Inc. has received two orders totaling $9.2 million for its SeeSpot III+ high-performance thermal imagers. The units delivered under these orders will be provided to the U.S. Air Force to support its surveillance and observation missions.
DARPA awards AeroVironment Phase II contract to develop nano air vehicle MONROVIA, Calif., 8 Juy 2008. AeroVironment Inc. (AV) has won a Phase II contract by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to design and build a flying prototype for the Nano Air Vehicle (NAV) program.

Concurrent, a provider of integrated Linux solutions, and The FTI Group have delivered a simulation system for the German Airbus project that will result in improved quality and reduced costs while enabling a faster time to market. The system will be used for the Airbus A320 High Lift System (HLSS), responsible for controlling the aircraft's trailing-edge flaps.
