Malaysian Air Force, Navy orders $2.7 million in personal locator beacons
ST. PAUL, Minn., 14 June 2008. Digital Angel's SARBE division will supply emergency identification equipment with a combined value of approximately $2.7 million to the Malaysian Armed Forces. Delivery of all equipment is due by the end of Q2 '09.
ITT performs flight test of sensors to monitor global climate change

Nextant Aerospace finishes 400NXT flight testing
RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio, 13 June 2008. Nextant Aerospace has completed base-line flight tests for the Nextant 400NXT program. Test flights using modified aircraft have been completed on schedule and with expected results. Base-line data collected during these test flights will be used to validate performance improvements, fuel savings, and weight reductions as part of the 400NXT program.
New ground robot system provides non-lethal and lethal combat capabilities
SAN DIEGO, 12 June 2008. Qinetiq North America in Arlington, Va., announced that it has shipped the first MAARS ground robot to the U.S. military under a contract from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Low-Intensity Conflict (EOD/LIC) program within the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO).

ViaSat wins $52 million MIDS delivery order from SPAWAR

ViaSat Inc. has won a delivery order valued at approximately $52 million for Multifunctional Information Distribution System terminals from The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), San Diego. By gathering information into a digital view of the battlefield, MIDS provides greater situational awareness in combat for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and for U.S. defense partners.
General Dynamics delivers first unmanned surface vehicle to U.S. Navy for Littoral Combat Ship

General Dynamics Robotic Systems (GDRS) in Westmonster, Md., delivered the first 11-meter "Fleet" class Anti-Submarine Warfare Unmanned Surface Vehicle (ASW USV) to the U.S. Navy as part of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) mission package.
