Curtiss-Wright acquires electronics cooling and thermal management specialist EST Group Inc. ROSELAND, N.J., 7 Mar. 2009. Curtiss-Wright Corp. has acquired all of the stock of EST Group Inc. for approximately $40 million in cash. EST Group is a provider of highly engineered products and comprehensive repair services for heat management and cooling systems used in the energy and defense markets. The business will become part of Curtiss-Wright's Flow Control segment.
Fidelity Technologies to build simulation system for Air Force training READING, Pa., 6 March 2009. Fidelity Technologies Corp. in Reading, Pa., won a $5.3 million U.S. Air Force contract to create a simulation and training system that can be used for a range of training exercises.

Market for ATCA integrated systems to grow to $301.2 million by 2012, says VDC NATICK, Mass., 4 March 2009. The worldwide market for merchant ATCA systems should nearly triple over the five-year period from 2008 to 2012, according to analysts at market researcher VDC Research Group in Natick, Mass. Sales of integrated systems based on ATCA boards should rise from $114.9 million in 2008 to $301.2 million by 2012, VDC analysts say.

Pascall Electronics to provide RF frequency generators for European navy ship RYDE, England, 25 Feb. 2008. Pascall Electronics Ltd. in Ryde, England, won a $1 million contract from an unnamed European defense contractor to supply radio frequency generator subsystems for an electronic systems application onboard navy ships in Europe.
