FAA certifies Avidyne's lightning-detection avionics sensor for Cessna 400 aircraft LINCOLN, Mass., 24 Feb. 2009. Avidyne Corp. in Lincoln, Mass., earned supplemental type certificate (STC) approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington to install the company's TWX670 tactical lightning detection system in the Cessna 400 four-seat general aviation aircraft.

SPACEHAB changes name to Astrotech HOUSTON, 21 Feb. 2009. SPACEHAB Inc., a provider of commercial space services, is changing its corporate name to Astrotech Corp. SPACEHAB has filed for and received approval for the name change. As a result of the shareholder authorization, the company notified the NASDAQ Stock Market of the name change. Until a new trading symbol is obtained, shares of common stock will continue to trade under the symbol 'SPAB.'
