Raytheon contracted to provide engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System TEWKSBURY, Mass., 6 Nov. 2009. Raytheon Company won a $5.8 million contract modification for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense system. The contract calls for Raytheon to provide systems analysis, software and hardware engineering, testing, and logistics support. Raytheon IDS is the prime contractor for domestic and international Patriot air and missile defense systems, and systems integrator for Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missiles.
Stanley wins contract with Marine Corps to support Total Information Gateway for Enterprise Resources Web Portal Program for sharing vital information ARLINGTON, Va., 6 Nov. 2009. Stanley Inc., a provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, won a five-year, firm-fixed-price contract valued at $12.4 million, if all four option years are exercised, by the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). Stanley personnel will provide technical services to support and maintain the Total Information Gateway for Enterprise Resources (TIGER) Web Portal Program.
ATK, BAE Systems team wins $32.2 million contract to develop Joint Allied Threat Awareness System for U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps MINNEAPOLIS, 5 Nov. 2009. Alliant Techsystems and BAE Systems won a $32.2 million contract to develop the Joint Allied Threat Awareness System (JATAS). JATAS, a next-generation missile warning system, will provide protection for U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps helicopter and tilt-wing aircraft.
CACI wins $75 million to continue support for U.S. Army rapid development fielding initiatives ARLINGTON, Va., 5 Nov. 2009. CACI International Inc. won a $75 million task order to continue its support for the Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) through a Technical Engineering Support Services (TESS) contract.
General Dynamics wins $17 million gun system contract from Raytheon CHARLOTTE, N.C., 4 Nov. 2009. General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products won a $17 million contract to produce gun systems for the Phalanx Block 1B Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and the Centurion Land-Based Phalanx Weapon System from Raytheon Missile Systems of Louisville, Ky.

BAE Systems to support U.S. Air Force nuclear treaty monitoring under $20 million contract MELBOURNE, Fla., 4 Nov. 2009. BAE Systems won a contract worth up to $20 million to support U.S. Air Force global monitoring for nuclear treaty compliance. The company will provide engineering, research, and program management services for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) at Patrick Air Force Base.
RE2 wins contract to develop Modular Recon Manipulator for defeating vehicle-borne IEDs PITTSBURGH, Pa., 3 Nov. 2009. RE2 Inc., a developer of intelligent modular manipulation systems, won a Broad Agency Announcement contract with the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office to develop a Modular Recon Manipulator for Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device Defeat. The RE2 Modular Recon Manipulator will provide bomb squad technicians with the capability to perform reconnaissance tasks within vehicles suspected to contain explosive devices, describes a representative.
National Security Agency contracts General Dynamics to develop high-speed data encryptor SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., 3 Nov. 2009. General Dynamics C4 Systems won a $7.6 million contract to develop the new KG-530 SONET OC-768C in-line encryptor in support of an NSA initiative to secure and distribute data, at a full 40 gigabits per second line rate, used for government and military missions.
Boeing to upgrade CV-22 Trainer with virtual reality enhancements ST. LOUIS, 2 Nov. 2009. Boeing [NYSE: BA] and partner Bell Helicopter won a contract from the U.S. Navy to upgrade the CV-22 Cabin Part Task Trainer (CPTT) with modifications including an aircrew flight simulation (AFS) that use virtual reality technology fused with video imagery. The upgrade will be delivered to Air Force Special Operations Command, 58th Training Squadron at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, N.M. Financial terms were not disclosed.
