DARPA selects Pranalytica for Beam Combining of High Power Quantum Cascade Laser Arrays project SANTA MONICA, Calif., 14 April 2009. Pranalytica Inc. won from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program to participate in Phase I of the Beam Combining of High Power Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) Arrays project for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM).
L-3 Integrated Systems selects Ampex Data Systems' high-definition video recorder for ISR Project Liberty REDWOOD CITY, Calif., 14 April 2009. Ampex Data Systems Corp. won a contract award from L-3 Integrated Systems to supply rugged Ampex miniR 700 airborne high-definition video data recorder systems. The recorder systems will support the Air Force's new NC-2W Intelligence-Surveillance-Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft. These Project Liberty Aircraft will augment current ISR assets used by the U.S. military and its coalition partners.
Boeing demonstrates command and control of ScanEagle UAS from Wedgetail AEW&C aircraft SEATTLE, 13 April 2009. Boeing successfully demonstrated simultaneous command and control of three ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from a Royal Australian air force (RAAF) Wedgetail 737 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft flying over Washington state.

SRA International Inc., a provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations, is one of multiple prime contractors awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
CACI wins $38 million to provide program management support for U.S. Army Intelligence System ARLINGTON, Va., 10 April 2009. CACI International Inc. won a $38 million prime contract to provide program management and technical engineering services support to the U.S. Army's Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A). CACI received the three-year award (one base year and two option years) under its Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract with the Army.
KVH gains $1.3 million in tactical navigation systems orders MIDDLETOWN, R.I., 9 April 2009. Three international prime contractors ordered $1.3 million in tactical navigation systems from KVH Industries Inc. KVH's TACNAV military vehicle navigation systems provide unjammable, precision navigation, heading, and pointing data for vehicle drivers, crews, and commanders. TACNAV can also serve as a link between each vehicle and the overall digital battlefield.
U.S. Army orders MobiLink communications on-the-move systems from DataPath DULUTH, Ga., 8 April 2009. DataPath Inc., a provider of satellite and wireless communications networks, is providing MobiLink Technologies communications on-the-move (COTM) systems to a deployed U.S. Army unit in support of battlefield operations. Eight additional COTM systems, as well as field technical support and services have been procured through exercised options under an existing delivery order. The COTM systems are expected to be deployed within weeks, says a representative.
Raytheon wins $163.5 million to modernize Bradley Vehicle surveillance MCKINNEY, Texas, April 6, 2009. Raytheon Company won two contracts totaling $163.5 million to provide 360-degree panoramic surveillance capability for Bradley fighting vehicles. Raytheon Network Centric Systems has delivered more than 1,800 CIVs, according to a company representative.
Cubic wins contract for U.S. Army Small Arms Training System ORLANDO, Fla., 6 April 2009. Cubic Simulation Systems will provide its Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 (EST 2000) to the U.S. Army. EST 2000 is a virtual training experience that allows soldiers to engage their foes on large, colorful projection screens using realistic simulated weapons ranging from pistols to grenade launchers.
